Manual backups
Start an on-demand backup run for a cluster without waiting for a policy schedule.
Prerequisites
- A cluster in Ready status
- An active backup bucket on the cluster
In the console
Open the cluster, then Backup Runs (or choose View all backups on the cluster detail page).
To create a manual backup
- Open the cluster.
- Choose View all backups (or open the cluster Backup Runs page).
- Choose Create manual backup.
- Wait until the run Status is Ready.
Note
Scheduled backups from an attached backup policy appear in the same backup runs list.
