Manage users and configs

Each VPN user gets its own key pair and tunnel address. Download the configuration file once and hand it to the user.

To add a user

1. Open the client VPN detail page. Confirm Status is Ready.
2. Enter a user name (DNS label rules, unique on the instance).
3. Choose Add user.
4. Wait until the user row shows a ready status and Download config is enabled.

To download a config

1. On the user row, choose Download config.
2. Import the .conf file into WireGuard (or a compatible client).
3. Connect and verify the tunnel address and routing mode.

Repair

If the instance is Ready or Impaired, choose Repair to re-run WireGuard setup on the existing server (DNS, interface, and any user configs that were never issued). Existing users keep their keys; the tunnel drops briefly while the interface reloads.

To delete a user

1. On the user row, choose Delete.
2. Confirm. Access for that user is revoked.

Delete the VPN

In Danger zone, delete the client VPN instance when you no longer need the gateway.
