Node pools

A node pool defines worker sizing, labels, and taints. Attach a pool to a cluster, then add agent nodes.

To create a node pool

1. Choose Containers, Node Pools, then create a pool.
2. Enter a DNS-label name (max 30 characters).
3. Choose an availability zone and server type.
4. (Optional) Add labels and taints.
5. Choose Save.

To attach a pool and add workers

1. Open the cluster detail page.
2. Attach the node pool.
3. Add agent nodes for that pool.
4. Wait until nodes show Ready.

Detach and delete

• Delete agent nodes in the pool, then detach the pool from the cluster
• Delete the pool from Node Pools when it is not attached
