Master keys
A master key is an optional account-level encryption key. myStack does not create a master key by default.
In the console
Choose Encryption, Master Keys.
To create a master key
- Choose Encryption, Master Keys, then create a master key.
- For Name, enter a name.
- For Value, enter the key material.
- Choose Save.
Fields

Note
Database backups do not require a master key. Each cluster gets a dedicated data key automatically.
