Promote a replica
Switchover promotes a healthy replica to primary. DNS endpoints stay the same; routing updates behind them.

To promote a replica
- Confirm the cluster and both servers are Ready.
- On the replica row, open the actions menu and choose Promote to primary.
- Confirm the dialog.
- Wait until both servers are Ready and roles have swapped.
After switchover
- Write and read through the read/write domain
- Read through the read-only domain (allow brief replication lag)
