Cluster details

The cluster detail page shows status, endpoints, servers, and configuration for a PostgreSQL cluster.

Overview

• Status — cluster lifecycle state
• Default server type — instance size for the primary
• Read/write domain — primary endpoint
• Read-only domain — replica endpoint

You can rename the cluster when status is not restricted.

Servers

The servers table lists each node:

• Name and primary IP
• Role (Primary or Replica)
• Status
• Actions — promote, force to primary, optimize, delete

Choose Add server (replica) to add a replica.

Configuration sections

• Metrics — charts when monitoring is enabled
• Certificates — TLS certificates
• Security groups — network access
• Parameter groups — engine settings
• Identities — database users
• Backups — policies and runs
• Jobs — operation history

Delete a cluster

In Danger zone, choose Delete database, then confirm. Deletion is asynchronous; the cluster may remain listed until termination finishes.
