Cluster details
The cluster detail page shows status, endpoints, servers, and configuration for a PostgreSQL cluster.
Overview
- Status — cluster lifecycle state
- Default server type — instance size for the primary
- Read/write domain — primary endpoint
- Read-only domain — replica endpoint
You can rename the cluster when status is not restricted.
Servers
The servers table lists each node:
- Name and primary IP
- Role (Primary or Replica)
- Status
- Actions — promote, force to primary, optimize, delete
Choose Add server (replica) to add a replica.
Configuration sections
- Metrics — charts when monitoring is enabled
- Certificates — TLS certificates
- Security groups — network access
- Parameter groups — engine settings
- Identities — database users
- Backups — policies and runs
- Jobs — operation history
Delete a cluster
In Danger zone, choose Delete database, then confirm. Deletion is asynchronous; the cluster may remain listed until termination finishes.
