Parameter groups

A parameter group is a named set of Redis or Valkey settings. Attach one parameter group to a cache cluster at a time.

To create a parameter group

  1. Choose Cache, Parameter Groups, then create a group.
  2. Enter a name.
  3. Choose a parameter schema group for the engine and version.
  4. Set parameter values.
  5. Choose Save.

To attach a parameter group

  1. Open the cache detail page.
  2. In Parameter Group, choose a group.
  3. Choose Save.
Note Editing values on an already attached group does not automatically push changes to running clusters. Prefer copying the group, editing the copy, then attaching it.
