Backups and restore

Caches support backup policies, backup runs, and restore into a new cache cluster.

In the console

Choose Cache, then:

• Backup Policies — create and manage policies
• Backup Runs — account-wide overview of runs
• Open a cache — start a manual backup run when the cluster is ready

Typical order

1. Create a backup policy under Cache.
2. Attach the policy on the cache (or rely on account defaults where configured).
3. Wait for scheduled runs, or start a manual backup from the cluster page.
4. (Optional) Restore a ready run into a new cache.
